The PER series are heavy duty gravity shutters or backdraft dampers specially designed for horizontal airflow, opening with the air velocity form the fan and closing by gravity when the fan is not in operation. These ATC barometric shutters can also control backdrafts or the reversal of airflow in low and medium velocity-pressure systems.

Construction features

• The square frame, front flange and blades are made of extruded aluminum in models 8 to 20 with electrostatically applied polyester powder coating finish.
  
• The models 24 to 60 are manufactured from heavy duty galvanized steel with aluminum blades, reinforced with one to two additional vertical supports for the separation of blades depending on the model, and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating finish.
